Why Leadership? Leaders of yesterday that lead from the front with principles and morals are not as common today. Why Network Marketing? Network Marketing, I believe, is the future for families to have options in their life. Such as extra time an income.
Together on this site we will discuss why Leadership is needed and why Network Marking is making a comback in our communities.Average Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.comBlogger22125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-18742248405987802172010-01-24T20:07:00.000-08:002010-01-24T20:10:48.410-08:00Monavie Top Income EarningsCheck out this list.
http://www.businessforhome.org/mlm-500-top-earners/

That is amazing for a company only 5 years old. What a great time to a part of the MonaVie culture.

On a side note did you hear in one of Donald Trumps last books he said that the best way for the average person to become wealthy in today's economy is with network marketing. I have not posted lately for two reasons, we went on vacation and we have been having fun building teams in MonaVie. What an exciting time it is to be a part of MonaVie. I really don't believe there is anything easier to do for a living than "drink it, feel it, share it" If you haven't tried it yet, email me and I will get you a sample. I am putting up a link to all of the MonaVie videos. I recommend watching them all. I want to share what Dallen Larsen said on his monthly conference call this week. He said if you ask someone how much they got paid their first month the answer is "I don't know I still am getting paid for it." That is such an amazing power. I love this business.

Enjoy your journey
Justin
http://monavieonthemove.com/monavie-videos/Average Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-70725445725078540332009-03-19T06:16:00.000-07:002009-03-19T06:48:03.995-07:00Residual IncomeResidual income is defined as getting paid multiple times for a task that only had to be completed once. For example, most musicians write, sing, and record song one time. After that they receive a royalty every time someone buys the song or a radio plays the song. Same thing with movies. Every time you rent a movie the people who made the movie get a royalty. A royalty is a residual income. Imagine if you were a home builder and built someone their dream home, and then you got paid every month for the rest of your life from those people. Or imagine you repair cars for people and for every mile it gets driven after that they pay you a royalty. A residual income is the only way to do as J. Paul Getty said "The way to be wealthy is to make money while you sleep." I tell you what, when I heard that I thought "Man I don't even do that well when I'm awake, how do you do it when your sleeping?" Residual income. That's where network marketing comes in. Network marketing is the easiest way for the average person to create a residual income. Sure you could buy into a McDonald's franchise and receive residuals on every hamburger that is sold, but that costs a truck load of money just to get started. Now network marketing has been around for a long time now, and for some reason it has a bad rap. But if you look at some current facts you will see that network marketing is the future. The fastest company to hit 1 Billion is sales is not a franchise, its not Wal-Mart, its not even eBay. The fastest is a network marketing company called Mona Vie. They achieved that mark just 3.5 years in business, July 2008.

The reason I bring that up in a residual income article is because with their compensation plan I believe the residual income is more permanent than any other compensation plan in the industry. My favorite two incomes from Mona Vie is the Team Commissions and Executive Check Match. Mona Vie structures on what is called a "New Generation Binary" which means a person only has two teams, a left side and a right side. Team Commissions pay 10 percent of your lesser sides volume. Which means if you left side had 1000 in volume and your right side had 700 in volume then your Team Commission check would be $70.00 That being the case, it benefits you to help your teams grow as big as possible. The bigger your lesser side, the bigger your team commission check. The Executive Check Match pays you a percentage on people in your groups checks. Once you hit an Executive level you get paid a percentage of what your group gets paid. That means if your team makes more money, you make more money. Again it is to your benefit to help others achieve high Executive ranks. At that point you would be earning a permanent residual income, because the more Executive in your team you have the more likely it is that your teams will continue to grow even without your efforts. Why? Because those Executives will help their people go Executive and those Executives will help their people go Executive and it will continue on and on. Hitting the Executive ranks will not happen overnight, but they will not happen if you don't get started. As they say "The journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step"

I leave with this thought "What would you like to have done today that you couldn't because of time and money?" Residual income will give you both time and money.

Enjoy the journey!
JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-65871705383019673692009-03-10T06:57:00.000-07:002009-03-14T11:32:27.064-07:00Baseball LessonI heard a song the other day that I just had to share. It is several years older but a great song. It's called The Greatest by Kenny Rodgers. If you listen to the song he tells a story of a boy trying to hit a baseball. He tosses the ball up and swings and misses twice. On the third time he reminds himself that the game is on the line. The ball goes up and comes back down ... and that's strike three. The best part is how the boy reacts to strike three. Even if you have heard the song you should watch this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqRjbeSuHi8&feature=related

Isn't that a great story. Instead of being sad that he didn't hit the game winning home run, he looked at all the angles and realized that he just struck out the winning batter with his amazing pitching. You can always turn lemons into lemonade. I think too many times when things don't go the way we think they should, we automatically think it was a bad experience. There is good in every situation we just need to look for it.

Be a good finder.
JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-56743479293695426552009-03-06T20:22:00.000-08:002009-03-06T20:34:03.202-08:00Great MonaVie Links-MonaVie Pay Plan -

Team Commissions Explained
http://www.blackdiamonduniversity.com/training-COMP-team-commissions.asp?bhcp=1

Executive Check Match
http://www.blackdiamonduniversity.com/training-COMP-ECM.asp

These are two of the eight ways to make income with MonaVie. If you have something bigger than yourself to strive for, it makes all the obstacles along the way seem smaller. I love the lines in the latest Rambo and Rocky movies. From Rambo he says "Live for something, or die for nothing." and in Rocky he says "Life ain't about how hard you can hit. Its about how hard you can take a hit and get back up."

Keep moving forward, no matter what happens. And find something that you can live for. I've heard it said "The heart has its reasons the mind knows nothing about." And I'll say it again -Live for something, or die for nothing.

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-81585361587903788162009-02-25T19:34:00.000-08:002009-02-25T19:59:50.257-08:00Positive InputsIt is good to be constantly and consistently inputting good things into your brain. As it is the same with the body. It may not seem like much when you read something positive, but the repetitive input of good and positive media will enhance your life. Even if it is 20 minutes a day of reading, over time that adds up. In the words of a great friend and mentor "One day I opened up my mouth and all this intelligence fell out." That came from the daily input of good information. We now live in the information age. What information are you listening too.

I have been trying to tune out the negative and input positive for the past couple of years, and what a difference it has made in my life. I have tried to pay attention to my thoughts lately when dealing with different situations. I love the way I think about things now. When I read the book "The Anatomy of Peace" I know I picked up some knowledge that I use almost daily. In that book it talks about treating people as people and not objects. Are other people just obstacles in the way of you getting your tasks done? If so, I challenge you to look at your interactions with people and ask yourself "Is that how I would want to be treated if I was in their shoes?" Just that one thing will help in any task you are doing.

Remember, everyone breathes, everyone sleeps, everyone eats, everyone has the same needs, and everyone wants to be happy. There is a ripple affect on everything you do. Spending a few extra minutes to help a person, even if it does not get you further in your task, will be time well spent.

Also remember that no matter how big or small, Everything Counts
JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-57366910025408898002009-02-25T18:58:00.000-08:002009-02-25T19:32:57.677-08:00Links for MonavieHere are a few sites to get information on MonaVie.
Some of these are Temporary.

http://mv-made-ez.com/

http://www.the-team.biz/mv956491

http://www.monavie.com

http://www.monavie.com/Web/US/en/compensation_plan.dhtml

This link is for the Momentum Video - Every time I watch it I get so excited!
http://media.monavie.com/VIDEO/Momentum/

Or you can email me and I will send you a Success from Home magazine that is packed with info.
goals2grow@gmail.com

I am reading a new book, so I will be posting a good article soon.

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-89164044847192411742009-02-19T06:07:00.000-08:002009-02-19T06:50:32.097-08:00MonaVieI want to talk a little about MonaVie. This company started 4 years ago in January of 2005. At the 3.5 year mark they hit 1 Billion is sales. At the 4 year mark (last month) they hit 1.5 Billion. Dallin Larsen the founder off MonaVie says, "There is no recession in MonaVie." I guess not because in the last 6-7 months they have had 1/2 Billion Dollars in sales. Wow! To celebrate they are waiving the registration fee for this month of February. I think they have broken every record in Network Marketing history. I know that they hit 1 Billion is sales faster than EBAY and Amazon.com. I believe that they have done so this for many reasons, the right people, the right compensation plan, the right timing.

I want to talk about the compensation plan. They have what is called a new generation binary. It promotes teamwork. Working together with people to help other succeed. It is amazing. A binary means you only have two teams. So any person that you register has to go down line in one of two teams. Meaning, you could have people above you putting people below you. That makes it long term, by leveraging every ones efforts. Eventually you will have more people in your team that you didn't sponsor compared to the people you did sponsor. And the best part, all of that volume counts in your Team Commissions. I am going to put a link to MonaVie's compensation plan here. http://www.monavie.com/Web/US/en/compensation_plan.dhtml
To understand it better you can download the current compensation plan from that link.

Dallen Larsens said "I believe if people will do what others are unwilling to do for 2-3 years, they will receive benefits for many years, if not a lifetime to come." Ken Porter calls it permanent residual income. I call it the best thing for the average person. With MonaVie any one can become more Healthier and more Wealthier. Who couldn't use more of that?

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-84467271114835732532009-02-16T20:37:00.000-08:002009-02-16T20:47:46.076-08:00ValidationI am sharing a link for a great video. Without a dream or destination, one could wake up someday and realize that time has passed me by. I would believe that every professional sports player had a dream to play professionally. In order to make it to that level there is a lot of hard work and dedication. It is the same in the corporate world. In order to move up the ladder you have to be dedicated and committed to the company. I would believe that in order to move to a higher position you will do the work of that position first. Without the title or pay raise that may be attached to the position. If you have a dream that you believe you can hit, I would encourage you to put a date of achieving this dream. Then track your progress from start to finish with goals or steps along the way. If you don't get as far as you thought you would, make some course correction in your plan, reset the goal and begin again. Learn the art of holding yourself accountable to yourself. In my case, attaching a dread as well as a prize at each step along the way has made it easier to hold myself accountable to me. For instance, when my current goal is achieved there is a great prize awaiting, and since I have found that I am not motivated much by things (even though I really want them I will go without). I have had to say that until I reach this goal I will not get a haircut. Man is my hair getting long. But by doing this I have done more for attaining this goal in the last 3 weeks, then I did the two months before it (my hair wasn't annoyingly long enough yet). You will never get there if you don't aim for it. There is no shame in wanting more than you already have. Someone very successful once said, "If you never quit learning, your income should never quit growing."

Count your blessing every day, and do all you can to learn and grow.
JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-56322503588860603482009-01-24T18:56:00.001-08:002009-01-27T06:42:08.940-08:00FEARI would say that most everyone has heard it explained this way
False
Evidence
Appearing
Real
but that has been around so long, that it really doesn't mean much to me. Then I heard it explained this way. Fear is just incorrect knowledge. That helped me understand better that if I am fearful of something, it really has nothing to do with danger. It can be learned. As a kid it was always scary to be in the basement after dark, scared of the boogieman. But as an adult I know there is no boogieman and so there is no fear. I learned the correct knowledge and overcame the fear. I believe as you pursue greatness you will always come across a new situation that will make you afraid. Just remember that all you are afraid of is not having the knowledge to complete whatever task is at hand. The best way to gain that knowledge is from a mentor (someone who has been there and done that) or from personal trial and error. Since learning the incorrect knowledge theory of fear I have also learned another that has helped conquer fear. That is the definition of Faith is believing in something unseen, and the definition of Fear is believing in something unseen. Notice there is no difference. Once you can get past your fears and move forward, life will never be the same.

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-92000132083885044302009-01-20T06:54:00.000-08:002009-01-27T06:41:39.951-08:00The Next MillionairesI love this book. It is called The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilser. A couple of days ago Orrin had a video clip of him on his website. You should check it out. The more I hear about how bad the economy is the more I refer to this book. He talks about the great things that are happening and are coming down the line in these next 8-10 years. I believe that he said in his book titled Unlimited Wealth, that when a new age takes over there will be a huge opportunity for wealth creation. But the media will just talk about jobs lost and doom and gloom. He says they are not jobs lost, but jobs shifting from an old age to a new age. We are in a new age. The information age is live and well. If you shift out of the industrial age and into the information age, there will be a lot of option for your financial future. I love how this applys to Mona Vie. This company is in all the areas of Pilsers book about who will prosper, and they are setting records. They has 1 Billion Dollars in sales in 3.5 years! The company has now been opened for only 4 years. The are leading the way into the new future and I am glad to be a part of it.

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-59657170290099137632008-12-06T07:18:00.000-08:002009-01-27T06:42:08.941-08:00Having a GoalYou may have heard the saying "If you don't know where you are going, then you are probably already there." Until I started my journey I never realized how true that is. They said to me "look at the last 5 years of your life. If you don't make any changes then the next 5 years will be similar to the last 5 years." That got me thinking. I didn't hate the last 5 years of my life. But it was nothing spectacular either. Just running the rat race. And not getting ahead of anything. Just staying the same. I really think that we stop focusing on the future, and get so caught up in whats happening now. Ever since they told me that I have started picturing the future and setting small goals to get to where I want to be in 5, 10, 20 years. I have also heard it said this way "Life is like a camera, what you focus on you will develop." In any profession you start out with ambition and go through the training to become. You focus on the skills it takes, learn them and they become you. That even applies to bad things. The more you focus on hatred for someone, the more it builds up until you despise them.

I suggest you find something that you want to have, or do, or get done within the next few months. Figure a way to divide it into 2-4 steps to get there. Then write down those steps. Look at them everyday and ask to yourself, "What am I doing today to hit this next step?" Before you know it you will have made that want into a reality. Start out with something small and get some results, then the sky is the limit.

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-69293740126111730572008-12-04T06:27:00.001-08:002009-01-27T06:44:53.968-08:00Give Happy to Be HappyServing. That is a huge part in being a Leader. The title "Give Happy to Be Happy" is something I hear Chris Brady say all the time. If you want to be happy then give happy. We were at an event last night called the Festival of Trees. There was this lady with a double wide stroller and was struggling to get out the door. When I saw this I walked over and held open the door for her, and with a big smile said "This should help make it easier." She got through the door, looked at me, smiled and said thank you. There was almost a sigh of relief feeling that came from her when she said thank you. Little things like that go a long way in peoples lives.

I absolutely love what I heard Dallin Larsen say
"Life is like a tennis match. He who serves best usually wins."

JustinAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-66220866638037212282008-12-02T06:15:00.000-08:002009-01-27T06:42:08.941-08:00Mentor WisdomHaving a mentor is important in Leadership. You may have heard the expression "Lead, Follow or get out of the way." I believe you must first Follow, then Lead. However you should never quit following. Attach yourself to someone out front that you can trust, who is Honest and has Integrity. That will make all the difference when you have challenges.

I leave you today with a quote from one of my mentors,
"You can't Teach what you don't know, and you can't Lead where you wont go."

Justin

12/3/08

I would like to add another quote that rings so true. It is about learning from failures. If you really understand that in order to be successful you must "fail forward" you will also understand that you can learn and grow from everything you do.

"Lesson continues until lesson learned."
"Average Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-57510873704333618112008-12-01T06:14:00.001-08:002009-01-27T06:42:26.835-08:00Leadership GoldI am re-reading Leadership Gold by John Maxwell. I read chapter 4 last night. I absolutely love it. It is titled "When You Get Kicked In The Rear, You Know You're Out In Front"
It talks about criticism and some ways to handle them. Because every time you are out in front leading, someone will always have some criticism toward you. I've heard it said that most people want you to get by, just not by them! I have not read to many of John Maxwell's books yet, but I did hear him speak once and he is the real deal. Charlie "Tremendous" Jones says "You are the same today as you are going to be in 5 years except for the People you meet and the Books you read."

So lets meet new people and read new books. There is a list of books on this site that I recommend or any of the books recommended on any of my links would be great ones to read.

Justin

a.k.a
Average JoeAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-4282008989298346452008-11-30T13:28:00.000-08:002009-01-27T06:43:26.820-08:00Direct Selling - What is your opinion? Before I get started on the subject of Network Marketing, Direct Selling, MLM, and so on. I thought that I would start with the question "What are your feelings about that industry?" I would like to hear from people who have both succeeded and failed. I would like to talk about which opportunities you tried. Why you think that you have succeeded or failed. There are many different companies out there, and many people involved as distributors. I believe the hope that they bring back into peoples lives is what most attracts us to them. Sort of a Plan B approach to making money. And logically it has to work. It is worth trying anyway. Isn't it? I mean what if it works, what if my friend or relative showing me this idea does it and I don't? All these went through my head the first time I sat down to presentation. That is after the several months of me putting him off, until I finally said if I come will you stop bothering me? My life has been forever changed since then. I will tell more as days come, but first I would like to hear from some of you.

JoeAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992681750664062269.post-28356135226658997622008-11-29T17:11:00.000-08:002009-01-27T06:43:26.820-08:00WelcomeIn this past month our country voted for a new President. Both parties have their pros and cons. Both parties have their differences. What I think surprises me the most, is how divided our country has become on some issues. There are absolute truths. Without them we are giving up what the signers of The Declaration of Independence fought and died for. I believe that common sense has been lost through generations. I believe that self government or taking responsibility for one actions are gone. Those are some of the principles that made this country great. Our country has come to point where saving money on Christmas shopping (not Holiday shopping) is more important than a persons life. I am sure you have heard about the poor gentleman at a store in New York that was trampled to death after the doors were opened. Reports say that some people were angry that they closed the store down and they couldn't shop any more. I bet the family of that worker doesn't care to save money on their Christmas shopping. What dollar amount can you add to a human life?

In the next several post I will share from some of the books I have read about Leadership and will also share some of my current experiences. I am very young in my journey, and do not intend to ever sound like I know everything. I will say that I look forward to many discussions from all angles and views of leadership development and network marketing.

JoeAverage Joehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03013698978636867586noreply@blogger.com0
