Positive Inputs

It is good to be constantly and consistently inputting good things into your brain. As it is the same with the body. It may not seem like much when you read something positive, but the repetitive input of good and positive media will enhance your life. Even if it is 20 minutes a day of reading, over time that adds up. In the words of a great friend and mentor "One day I opened up my mouth and all this intelligence fell out." That came from the daily input of good information. We now live in the information age. What information are you listening too.

I have been trying to tune out the negative and input positive for the past couple of years, and what a difference it has made in my life. I have tried to pay attention to my thoughts lately when dealing with different situations. I love the way I think about things now. When I read the book "The Anatomy of Peace" I know I picked up some knowledge that I use almost daily. In that book it talks about treating people as people and not objects. Are other people just obstacles in the way of you getting your tasks done? If so, I challenge you to look at your interactions with people and ask yourself "Is that how I would want to be treated if I was in their shoes?" Just that one thing will help in any task you are doing.

Remember, everyone breathes, everyone sleeps, everyone eats, everyone has the same needs, and everyone wants to be happy. There is a ripple affect on everything you do. Spending a few extra minutes to help a person, even if it does not get you further in your task, will be time well spent.

Also remember that no matter how big or small, Everything Counts
